Big Buddy Program

The Big Buddy program has been in existence for 17 years and involves high school students giving extra support and encouragement to elementary and middle school students.  High School students meet with their little buddy once a week for 30 minutes or more during their study-hall or free period.  The pairs may do activities such as:  homework, puzzles, games, play outside and/or just visit with eachother.  We have seen improved attendance, grades and behavior in many of our students that participate.

If you have a student that is interested in being a Big Buddy, contact Tami Valline @ 515.465-8370.  If you have an elementary student that you would like to be considered for the program, contact Deb Clark @ 515.465.8346 or at the middle school, contact Jodi Schuttler @ 515.465-8512.
